PACT is recruiting new committee members and Regional Champions!

PACT is continuing to grow and we are recruiting! We have several exciting new committee and regional positions available and welcome applicants from all primary care roles and levels of experience to apply. Brief descriptions of each position are as follows:

Education lead (PACT committee position)

  • Attend monthly committee meetings (online)

  • Develop content for an education page(s) for the PACT website, facilitating the development of research skills for PACT members

  • Coordination and collaboration with the NIHR Learn online education platform

Undergraduate lead (PACT committee position)

  • Ideally a medical student or recent graduate from a relevant clinical degree who is keen to advocate for widening access research in primary care

  • Attend monthly committee meetings (online)

  • Provide input from an undergraduate perspective and direct how PACT can better engage with students from all disciplines

  • Promote PACT and encourage recruitment from the undergraduate community nationally

PACT Regional Champion (multiple positions available for each England NIHR CRN region, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland)

  • Will facilitate and collaborate with their local research networks in order to promote PACT and primary care research more widely in the region

  • Assist with recruitment for PACT projects within the region and support PACT members who are collaborating on PACT projects locally

  • Attend PACT committee and PACT project steering group meetings as required
